CLC operates freight service from Columbia Junction to Ostrander Junction, WA, 8.49 miles, connecting with the BNSF and UP at Rocky Point, WA. Rail is 112 pound. Traffic is lumber and forest products, steel, paper and chemicals - 15,000 cars per year. The company was incorporated April 9, 1925, and the railroad was built between 1926 and 1928. Owner, Weyerhaeuser Company, also operates a 35-mile Green Mountain line in connection with the CLC.
